NorthStar Initiative for Sustainable Enterprise
The NorthStar Initiative for Sustainable Enterprise helps industries, governments and individuals move beyond marginal greening to more meaningful, systemic change. Through collaborative, stakeholder-driven research, NorthStar catalyzes the creation of new ideas while leveraging the market’s power to innovate.

Bioenergy Research Team
The Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center has joined forces with IonE to produce the first geographically detailed assessments of land availability for bioenergy production. Experts are measuring feedstock yields from croplands, pastures and forests and looking at pressures on food supply and natural ecosystems.

Mississippi River Rangers
IonE's River Life program has teamed up with the National Park Service to engage U of M students with the Mississippi River. The River Rangers program aims to spark student interest in the river and encourage environmental stewardship. Rangers have an opportunity to help with NPS youth programs.
